Shoper 9 is a flexible and integrated business solution which supports most of your retail business needs and is capable of functioning independently. However, if your business uses other systems to support its operations, Shoper 9 provides a configurable and powerful framework to interact/connect with them in a bi-directional manner, viz.; it receives and transfers data to other applications.
Shoper 9 allows you to interface with other applications through customisations. Such applications may be custom software and/or legacy systems for use by you internally or externally.
Some examples of interfaces are:
Shoper 9 can send data to other applications in the required format and receive data from other applications, if it is in appropriate format. This eliminates the need for you to recreate the existing data for different applications.
Shoper 9 can import your data created by PDTs, data stored in .txt or .csv files, etc. In addition to this, Shoper 9 can export pre-identified set of data to .txt, HTML, XML and Spreadsheet formats for your use in other applications.
Using Shoper 9 you can import and export data between different installations. You can also import data from other applications and export data back to them. By using the import/export options you can enable quick data capture and ensure data accuracy as you avoid redundant data entry.
The activities that you can perform between Shoper 9 POS and Shoper 9 HO include import of item masters, details of price revision and customer information, other general masters, sales promotions/scheme definitions, etc. You can also import item and customer masters details from text files that have compatible structures. In addition to this, you can import sales promotion definitions from MS Excel sheets, if they are in the appropriate formats. In Shoper 9 HO, apart from the standard interface available, you can configure/customise the format for data import.
Similarly, you can export item masters, customer masters and transaction information from one store to another. This option allows you to eliminate the efforts to re-create masters and transactions at the receiving store. Another export option is the in-built standard interface to Tally.ERP 9. All reports generated by Shoper 9 can be exported to Excel, RTF, HTML formats, etc.
You can schedule the activities of import/export apart from doing it manually.
